These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things...At Christmas!

Making gingerbread houses. Ethan had so much fun doing this that for weeks afterward he'd walk by the gingerbread house and say, "That was SO much fun making that gingerbread house, wasn't it?!"
Watching my boys shovel snow. Ethan could literally stay out there all night if we didn't drag him in!

Warming up with some yummy hot chocolate. Look at those rosy cheeks!Going on a train ride with Santa...doesn't get better than that!

Making sugar cookies. Yummy!Tracking Santa on Christmas Eve with Aunt Kimberly. I think at this point, Santa was in the Netherlands. :)

Watching the boys open their gifts.

And last, but certainly not least, my favorite part of Christmas is being with our families. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. We love you!(Jen's family playing Rock Band in our basement.)

THIS IS THE LETTER THAT ETHAN DICTATED TO ME TO SEND TO SANTA. GOTTA SCRAPBOOK THIS ONE!!

Dear Santa,

I want a guitar, and kitchen stuff, and drums, and a guitar. Sometimes guitar is fun! A toy is fun. I want a green present (one that has a guitar in it) and a big blue present too, and a little green present too, okay? And that's all. I want 5 presents. One for Emmy, one for Sammie, one for Gemma, one for Grammy and Pops, one for daddy, one for Ethan and one for mommy. I want a little guitar too. And that's all. I'm getting to be a big boy but it's not snowing today.
