A Few Classic Ethan Shots!

The other day, Ethan crashed in the car on the way home,
as he often does. When I parked the car and got out to get
him, this is how I found him. How pathetic is that?

Pasta for dinner! Yumm!

So, we've been working on Ethan's table manners lately.
For some reason, he feels inclined to shove food into his mouth
until it is literally bursting out and he can barely chew. I'm
not sure why he does this and of course, I'm petrified that
he's going to choke. However, he manages to chew it up
and get it all down. What a guy!

Cousins

Last weekend, Nat & James and Tim & Kimberly were in town with their little ones. So, we couldn't miss an opportunity to get a shot of all 4 grandkids together. As you can see from Ethan's face, he was eating it up. He's definitely not camera shy! P.S. - Thanks Gemma Cooper for the adorable shirt and sweatshirt he's outfitted in!

Unfortunately it got a little chilly so we couldn't stay long.

Look who was caught in the act of crawling up the stairs! He will usually wait at the bottom of the stairs until he hears me coming for him and then bolt up as fast as he can. What a little stinker!

We're Back!

Sorry to all of you who were wondering where the latest blogs have been. We "misplaced" our camera in our own home so I didn't have any pictures to post for a while. I finally gave Blake the assignment to try to track it down because I hadn't had any luck. Sure enough, he found it deep in our couch where I thought I had already checked. So, here are a few pictures from a few weeks ago. Ethan was sent some great pj's and toys from the Kewish's. He was in heaven!

Let It Snow!

A few weeks ago we had a pretty big ice/snow storm. Ethan has seen snow but has never played in it. Emily was brave and decided to take him out to "play." As you can see from his reaction, he was less than thrilled. I guess he's having a tough time seeing how that cold, wet white stuff can be any fun!

Missing Camera

I'm sorry that there haven't been any new pictures of Ethan lately. We've somehow managed to "misplace" our camera in our own home. I'm going to do a serious search for it today. Hopefully I'll have some new pics up for you soon!

Big Steps!

That's right...on Friday, (3/2) Ethan took his very first steps! He had pulled his dresser drawer out (like always) to cruise around it holding on with one hand. I knew he was close to walking so I thought I'd try to pull him away from the drawer with a very tempting item he loves - the container of vaseline! At first he whined because he was trying so hard to get it but did not want to let go of the drawer with his left hand. Finally he got his courage up and took two steps before falling into me to get it. It was awesome! Blake was still at work so he missed it but Ethan has done it a bunch of times for him lately. Sometimes I wonder what I'm thinking trying to teach him how to walk but it's so much fun to see him progress each day. I can't help but look forward to each new stage!
