A Spring Recap...

Okay, I know it's been too long but now that girl's camp is over, I'm going to try to get back on track. Here's a recap of our spring...

In June I took the kids to Sesame Place (Blake ended up having to go to work so we were bummed that he couldn't join us.) Luckily, Nicole, Pat and Emily were willing to come with us and give me back up support. Honestly, I think we had the perfect adult to kid ratio!

The first thing we did was try out the water activities. As I approached the small wading pool, Addie and Grant became hysterical and absolutely refused to go anywhere near the water. Thank goodness they have dry rides or it would have been a complete waste of money.

Ethan on the other hand, couldn't get enough of the water rides. This was his favorite rafting slide that he went on over and over and over again. I have to admit, it was a fun one!

Here's Nic helping with Addison (JCrew swim suit courtesy of Aunt Nic. Is this kid spoiled or what?!)

Pat and Ethan are enjoying the flying Elmo ride. The twins loved this one too!
Addie was so excited to get a picture with Elmo but when we got close, she wanted nothing to do with him. Grant on the other hand couldn't get enough Elmo time!

Grant and Addie found one of their favorite Sesame Street characters - OSCAR!!

We had a great time! On the ride home, we were convinced the kids would all crash immediately. But no, not my children! They finally fell asleep in the last 5 minutes of our 2 hour drive. Crazy kiddos!

Ethan also played spring soccer this year which he really enjoyed. Unfortunately there was another kid on his team who was like 8 feet tall and towered over all the kids. That kid got lots of playing time because he never let the other kids get the ball. I was a little annoyed but Ethan didn't seem to care much. He got a trophy...that's all he cared about in the end!

I also had the chance to attend Emily's graduation from high school. How can that be? Wasn't she 5 years old yesterday? I can't believe how grown up she is. My baby sister is headed off to college soon. We will miss her so much!

I had to throw in a picture of dad asleep at the graduation ceremony. It wouldn't be a true graduation without dad catching a few z's! :) Mom made me do it!

For July 4th this year, we attended the annual Randolph parade and the kids absolutely LOVED it! Addie was SO into it!
Someone gave Addie this flag and she waved it the ENTIRE time. She couldn't get enough of the excitement...and candy!

The gang hanging out enjoying the parade and the absolutely perfect weather!
Our little family...covered in sticky candy and loving it. It was a great day!
I had to throw this little picture in because I thought it was so cute. Grammy called and both Grant and Addie insisted on talking to her at the same time. I found them camped out on their Elmo chair chatting it up with Gram. So cute!
