Shock & Awe...
We've had a few shock and awe moments this week so I thought I'd take a moment to document them. Some were cute and funny and others...well, I'm sure one day I'll laugh. I haven't quite gotten there yet... Enjoy!

Ethan decides that this bucket for his sandbox would be a great makeshift potty. Ethan is proudly displaying the pee pee he did in the bucket.

Mommy catches Ethan with the spatula from the brownies we made. Like father, like son!

After a full day of working outside, planting flowers, I brought Ethan in for a bath and got him all cleaned up for bedtime. We went downstairs to make Belgian waffles for dinner (a special treat for Daddy) and this is what happened next. Ethan was on his stool (where he always INSISTS on being when mommy is making or stirring anything). I had all the ingredients in the bowl and turned around to put the oil away when suddenly I looked at Ethan and saw him start to lose his balance on the stool. Within a split second he was on the floor (upright) but he held onto the bowl as he went down and this was the result...waffle mix all over the floor, cupboards, Ethan and me! Poor Blake...he walked in a minute after this happened and had to handle clean up while I gave Ethan yet ANOTHER bath! Nothing is easy with a 2 year old!

On the other hand, he really is my best little buddy. Once he learned that we're not supposed to pull the petals off the flowers, he really was a great little helper!

Ethan proudly shows off our flower pots and baskets!

Oh Jen, he is too adorable! Can I have him? I remember two years is hard, but one look at his cheeks, and how could you not melt. Cute pics.
Oh boy! At least be glad he peed in the bucket and not on the floor, right? I hear it's very common for boys to pee all over the place. I love these updates!! Keep them up.
Oh, my gosh. What a cute little stinker. At least he wasn't TRYING to spill the waffle mix. Mine probably would have done it intentionally. Man, I miss you guys. You really need to move down here.
Well, maybe you weren't laughing....but I sure got a good chuckle out of all the stories!!!! So if nothing else, it's amusement for others. He's adorable and doing exactly what a two-year old should do!
What a cute kid! The bucket potty got me rollin'! He must keep you on your toes! I am so glad Pete doesn't move much. He just flaps his arms and legs.
