Look out American Idol!

Today we were at Walmart and I told Ethan that if he was a REALLY good helper, he could pick a $1 movie at the Redbox. Unfortunately they didn't have the movie he wanted in stock so I told him we'd find another Redbox and see if they had it. As we were driving, Ethan asked if we were going to another Walmart to get the video. I told him that we'd get it at 7-11. He then replied, "But Mommy, why do I have to wait until that time to get it? Why can't I have it now?" (He thought I meant "at 7:11") It was all I could do to not laugh out loud. How could I have a child that doesn't know about 7-11 and where Slurpees come from?!

On another note, Ethan has been working really hard this year to memorize each primary scripture designated for every month. He's also been really turned on to the new primary song they've learned recently. I hear him singing it frequently and it just melts my heart. I finally grabbed the camera today to record his sweet little singing voice!

That's so cute! I don't think I know that primary song.

So adorable! Olivia loved watching that especially since she just finished singing it to me. She LOVES it too! Maybe they can be musical companions someday like we were...only they could be eternal companions. wink wink nudge nudge!
