A Few Weeks in Pictures
Boy, it's been a very busy few weeks for us. Let me try to recap (this is more for my own record so don't feel obligated to read all this!). This week Blake was in a 5 car pile up on Rt. 24 on his way to work. A lady came flying down the freeway into a line of cars stopped in an exit lane waiting to get off and unfortunately, Blake was the third car in the line. The people in the first cars were injured but luckily Blake left the scene with only a sore arm, neck and back. He's doing fine now but "Little Blue" (Blake's Saturn) didn't come out as well. It's not official yet but we're pretty sure it's totaled. So, now we've got to get another car which is an annoyance. Oh well!
On a better note, a few weekends ago we joined Blake's family to do a 5K Run/Walk for ovarian cancer. For those who don't know, Blake's mom finished her chemo treatments this summer and is now cancer free! She's such a fighter and we're so proud of her for her strength and courage. So, Nicole found this race and we all joined in. It was such a blast! Ethan also received a couple of very cool gifts - a dump truck and a Barney doll that sings, "I love you, you love me...." As you can see from the pictures, it was love at first sight!
Then, Scott and Natalie came down the following weekend for general conference which was really fun. We went on a little field trip to Sun High Orchards in Randolph to pick apples and get cider. It was such a blast. Ethan fell in LOVE with the tractor that took us on a hay ride. He kept saying, "tractah!", "tractah!" That little guy sure loves trucks! Our favorite days are Tues, Wed, and Friday because that's when the garbage and recycling trucks come. Who knew they would be so exciting!

Uh, you skipped over another important thing, you cut your hair all off!! Oh my gosh, it looks cute. So happy to hear about Blake's Mom. That's wonderful. Ethan is sure a cutie.
Totally love that Ethan thought the focus of the hayride was the tractor, lol!
Next time you guys come down I'll have to take him on the job-site, I'm sure he'd love a front-end loader. Of course for him to see any machines we'd actually have to be building something and I would still need to be working here...so maybe not.
How fun!! Ethan is getting so big!! You guys are so cute! I love pumpkin patches! I am so glad for the update!! Can't wait to see you...just one more week!
